Natalie Hazen grew up in Canton, Georgia, and began writing scripts and shooting guerrilla movies on her dad's camcorder in high school. She was accepted into NYU's Tish School of the Arts and graduated in 2010 with a BFA in Dramatic Writing and the Goldberg Award for Excellence in Undergrad TV. While at NYU, Natalie interned for "The Colbert Report" and various Off-Broadway theatre companies. She also wrote for Someecards and founded the annual sketch show "One Night of Chuckles." In 2011, she moved to Los Angeles and appeared on The Young and Hungry List – The Top 100 Writers on the Verge. She also interned for the Nerdist Showroom at Meltdown Comics and wrote/starred in the Nerdist web series "NerdTerns." In 2014, she completed UCLA's year-long Professional Program in Screenwriting. Her work has appeared on Comedy Central's Trip Tank, and she even performs occasionally around town. She currently produces the This Is Rad! Podcast and writes and shoots sketches for its YouTube channel. She enjoys guinea pigs, souvenir pressed pennies and the color black.
